Ministries of Accompaniment
From the very beginnings of the Society of Jesus, our founders understood that walking with the poor, the suffering, and those on the margins is central to our charism: when we do this, we walk with Jesus in his suffering. Accompaniment is rooted in compassion, it is integral to our understanding of social justice, and it is the starting point for any sort of struggle for social change.
